The start of a new year!

Our 11th season will be coming up! Our bowling banquet was a big hit with good food and lots of wonderful prizes.
 
Through out the summer, the Officers will be planning for our first night of bowling and we hope next year will continue to be the success this season has been.

Location and bowling times have not changed.  Stelton Lanes, 1665 Stelton Road, Piscataway, NJ  (Steltonlanes.com)  

We start this season on
September 8, 2009 at 8PM sharp!

Our Process at the start of each season is as follows:

We will begin our year with the Opening Meeting, at 8 PM SHARP wherein we will discuss CNJPBL's Constitution and By-Laws.  Albeit a long meeting, it is a necessary to stay in accordance with USBC Rules.  We will begin with a Welcome, Basic Bowlers Etiquette, review of the Constitution and By-Laws, then open the floor for discussion, proposals, etc. 

Once the Constitution and By-Laws have been Accepted we will move on to completing the '08-'09 Team Line-up.  Anyone not on a team at that time will be placed.  Therefore, we specifically ask that ALL NEW, and any returning bowlers without a team, be present for this meeting.
 
Bowling will begin at 9:15 (ish) - Please be patient the first night.  As we all know there are always some "kinks" (and we're not talking Musical Groups or sex) that need to be worked out.  We, and the house, will do our best to start on time.

NEWS for the League!

Our banquet was a big hit. This year, we were back at the Gran Centurions.

Once again we're back to the the Gran Centurions in Clark and the last time we had a blast. Bring your dancing shoes as we're having a DJ this time as well.

It's a great time to join for the 2009/2010 season.
 Email cnjpbl@yahoo.com for more info! Our season runs from September to the end of April.  CNJPBL is a handicap league, based on 90% of 210, so all bowlers at all levels have an equal chance of doing well!  We bowl a split season, allowing teams to statistically "start new" in January! 

At this point, league dues will likely be $17.00 per week and there is a required, annual $17.00 USBC sanction fee which must be paid on the first night you bowl. 
CNJPBL accepts personal checks and cash. This may change prior to the beginning of next season.
Every team that bowls receives cash at year-end!

If you are returning from last year,
please send an email saying that you are returning, and if you are returning with all your team members.  Please include changes in emails, phone numbers or addresses.

If you are new this year,
CNJPBL is a social league!  We have 3-person teams, and we have music, monthly birthday parties,
50/50 raffles and lucky strikes! New bowlers, please email your full name, address, phone number, date of birth and specify if 1) you are on a team, 2) you need a team or 3) you need bowler(s) for your team.
Our bowlers average from the 60's to the 200's!  We pride ourselves on a fun night out once a week! 
There is also a great end-of-season banquet!
